Arthritis & Rheumatology Center PC

Comprehensive Rheumatology Services

Arthritis & Rheumatology Center, PC (ARC) was established in 2013 by Dr. Jatin Patel, a physician with a dedicated focus on treating patients with rheumatic diseases. Located in Georgia, the Center provides a full range of outpatient rheumatology services, including consultations, infusion therapy, on-site laboratory testing, X-rays, MRIs, clinical trial opportunities, and access to an in-house dispensary.

Multiple Locations for Statewide Access

To better serve patients across the region, ARC operates seven locations throughout Georgia. These clinics are situated in Canton, Cumming, Kennesaw, Lawrenceville, Roswell/Alpharetta, Suwanee/Johns Creek, and Woodstock, providing widespread access to specialized care for those living with autoimmune and inflammatory conditions.

A Team of Expert Rheumatology Providers

All rheumatologists and advanced practice providers at ARC are either board-certified or board-eligible. Each team member brings significant experience in managing complex rheumatic and autoimmune diseases. Their patient-centered approach combines clinical expertise with evidence-based care to support long-term wellness and improved outcomes.

  • Gout – A form of arthritis where urate crystals lead to joint pain and swelling.
  • Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (Wegener’s) – A disorder involving inflamed blood vessels that interfere with normal blood flow.
  • Mixed Connective Tissue Disease – A rare autoimmune condition with overlapping features of several other connective tissue diseases.
  • Myositis & Metabolic Myopathy – Disorders causing muscle inflammation or metabolic dysfunction.

ARC also engages in clinical research to help shape the future of rheumatologic care. Among their studies is a clinical trial focused on evaluating safe and effective treatments for adult lupus patients, offering qualified individuals access to advanced therapies.

Services Provided

To enhance the continuity and convenience of care, ARC provides a range of in-house services. These include musculoskeletal ultrasound, infusion therapy in a dedicated suite, viscosupplements, joint injections, digital X-rays, and a full-service laboratory. With many services offered under one roof, patients benefit from faster results and more streamlined care coordination.

A Fully Digital Practice Designed Around Patients

The Center operates as a fully digital, paperless practice. This technology-driven model enhances communication between providers, minimizes errors, improves efficiency, and reduces administrative overhead. By centralizing information, ARC ensures seamless coordination throughout the patient care journey.
Patients can access a secure online portal to manage their healthcare needs. The portal allows them to schedule appointments, complete medical forms, request prescription refills, send messages to the care team, and view relevant health information. Educational resources are also available through the practice’s website to help patients better understand their diagnoses and treatment plans.

Trusted by Patients, Care That Makes a Difference

Patient feedback reflects the high-quality care and compassionate attention provided by ARC providers. Many individuals have shared powerful testimonials about how the care they received made a lasting impact on their lives:

"I honestly can't thank Dr. Francis enough for not only really taking the time to teach me about my diseases but also really truly listening to me. She is the reason I am here, alive and doing way better... She’s got a heart of gold, and I couldn’t ask for a better doctor.”

“I have been a patient of Dr. Patel for almost 2 years now, and I will never leave his practice. It took me four years and four rheumatologists to find him. I absolutely love that he listens to me and is sympathetic to my issues. It is so rare to find a doctor who wants to actually diagnose you before putting you on meds. Dr Patel has been this way since day one. The Roswell office does my blood work and X-rays, and the office staff is beyond helpful and nice.”
